About The Event

An original play by Alexa "Silky"  Seda focusing on the intersection of environmental health, planning, and real-life St. Louis stories within the Black and Latino community.

Here's a list on how to prepare for theater auditions for the play Threaded by Alexa Seda:

1. Arrive at 6:00 PM

   - Sign up for a time slot to audition. Each audition slot includes 10 minutes with the director and production team.

2. Prepare a Monologue

   - Choose and practice a 1-2 minute monologue. Make sure it showcases your strengths and fits the tone of the play.

3. Prepare for a Cold Read

   - Be ready to perform a cold read of a provided script excerpt. This will test your ability to adapt quickly and interpret new material.

4. Know the Schedule

   - Note that there will be a stage reading of the final show in late January, followed by public performances in April. There will be a total of 6 performances.

Good luck with your auditions!
