Threaded- VLOG & New Play

Why Threaded...

Theater offers an intimate, immersive experience, creating a space where stories come to life. With Threaded, our goal is to bring the complex topics of climate change and environmental justice into a deeply personal and emotional space. By presenting these narratives on stage, we invite both actors and the audience to step into the lives of those most impacted—encouraging empathy, understanding, and a shared connection. This project seeks to move beyond statistics and policies, focusing instead on the human experiences that drive change and resilience within Black and Latino communities.

Submit Your Story
Your story matters. We invite you to share your personal experiences with climate change, environmental justice, and their impact on Black and Latino communities. All submissions will be kept confidential. With your permission, some stories may be featured in a vlog series, shining a spotlight on the voices behind this movement.

The ultimate goal of Threaded is to transform these stories into an on-stage theatrical production, written and directed by Alexa Silky Seda.
Timeline:
- Casting for the final production will take place in late mid January.
- A staged reading will be held in Februar.
- Performances will be in ** Late April/Early May**.
